MTC Engineering supported our first Careers Fair last year and were looking forward to returning to our school. Like many employers, they have had to change the way they work with schools. Instead they are offering a virtual event to provide a range of information about careers in engineering and about the apprenticeship scheme they offer. Apprenticeships are a great way to combine learning and employment offering a cost effective way to achieve qualifications. Please see MTC Engineering’s message below:
We’re pleased to announce that we’re hosting our first ever Virtual Open Event on Tuesday 24th November! We are reaching out to you to help us spread the message and invite prospective learners to join the event, which aims to give an insight into the MTC’s apprenticeship programme and why it’s a great option for school leavers.
We’re hosting two 45-minute sessions, at 4.30pm and 6.30pm, where attendees will be able to interact with our training team, current apprentices and employer partners to gain an insight into what it’s like to be an apprentice at the MTC.
We’ll talk through the process of joining the MTC’s apprenticeship programme, and how to apply to one of our employer partners, as well as providing a tour of the training centre.
Each session will finish with a Q&A session where our team, current apprentices, and employer partners will answer any questions.
